Endovascular revascularization is a procedure to treat peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and includes transluminal angioplasty (balloon catheter used to open the occluded artery), stent placement, atherectomy (catheter with a device to cut out plaque from the affected artery) or any combination of the three.
