AMA Survey Reveals Increased Utilization of Healthcare Technology by Physicians
February 6, 2020 – A survey conducted by the American Medical Association (AMA) to benchmark how various healthcare technologies are being used reveals increased integration into clinical practice by physicians. The biggest growth seen by the AMA were in the areas of telehealth, virtual visits and remote monitoring. Physicians rated improved efficiency and increased safety as the most important reasons for their use of technology.
